Brick follows Tim and Liv, a Hamburg couple married for nearly seven years. After Liv’s miscarriage, Tim emotionally withdraws, pouring himself into his game development. Desperate to salvage their crumbling marriage, Liv proposes a romantic Paris road trip, but Tim, oblivious to the stakes, prioritizes work once again. Heartbroken, Liv decides to leave him in the middle of the night, packing her bags to start anew. When she opens their apartment door, she’s stopped by a bizarre, impenetrable wall—magnetic and unlike anything they’ve seen. Initially, they assume it’s related to ongoing building renovations, but as its otherworldly nature becomes clear, they realize they’re trapped in something far beyond human understanding.
